Alex Sun is an entrepreneur and investor. She is the founder of HK based Akasha Capital Management, with interests in technology, healthcare, commodity and real estate. Alex started her career as a private banker with BMO Nesbitt Burns in Toronto. She ran commodity sourcing for a Goldman Sachs spinoff global PE fund from 2008-2014. Alex is graduate of Fudan high School, Shanghai Normal University major in Political Science and Commerce, she received her MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. Alex loves travel, good food, and is passionate about politics, arts and sports, Akasha is co-founder of ChinaOne Ningbo, the first China flagged sailing team attempting America’s Cup.
